What If Healing Was Already Yours?
Healing is your inheritance as a child of God, and tonight's message makes clear that you don't have to beg for it, wait for it, or wonder if it's for you. Pastor Ryan Jooste preaches with urgency and authority from Ephesians 1 and beyond, showing that everything in the kingdom of God answers to revelation, and when that revelation comes alive in your spirit, you stop struggling and start walking in victory.

"Healing Service" — Pastor Ryan Jooste
1. SERMON RECAP
Pastor Ryan Jooste walked the congregation through Paul's prayer for the church at Ephesus in Ephesians 1:15-23, identifying four areas in which Paul prayed believers would receive revelation. Pastor Ryan focused on three of those areas — revelation itself, the hope of God's calling, and the inheritance available to every believer — and challenged the group to stop tolerating what the enemy throws at them and instead stand firmly on what belongs to them in Christ. He declared that healing is not a reward for good behavior but a legal inheritance secured by Jesus two thousand years ago.
2. KEY SCRIPTURE
Acts 20:32 "And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified."
3. ICE BREAKER
What is the most unexpected or surprising gift you have ever received, and what made it meaningful to you?
4. DISCUSSION QUESTIONS
Point 1 — Revelation Pastor Ryan declared that everything in the kingdom of God answers to revelation, and that the same truth preached to two different people can produce radically different results depending on what has been built into their spirit. Where in your own life have you noticed that a shift in understanding — rather than a change in circumstances — changed the way you were able to walk through a difficult season? What do you think it looks like, practically, to pursue revelation rather than simply accumulating Bible knowledge?
Point 2 — The Hope of His Calling He challenged the group to live in light of eternity, saying that the Christian's primary aim should be to please God and bear fruit that lasts beyond this life. In honest conversation, how much does the reality of eternity actually shape the daily decisions you make — about time, money, relationships, and priorities? What tends to pull your focus away from that eternal perspective, and what has helped you return to it?
Point 3 — The Inheritance in the Saints Pastor Ryan was direct in stating that healing is the children's bread, that sickness and disease is illegal for the child of God, and that believers are meant to resist the enemy rather than passively accept what he brings. He referenced 2 Peter 1:3-4, which says believers have escaped the corruption in the world and are partakers of the divine nature. How does the language of inheritance and legal right change the way you think about approaching God for healing — either for yourself or for someone you love? What has made it difficult in the past to stand firm in that kind of confident, active faith?
5. APPLICATION CHALLENGE
This week, identify one area of your life — whether physical health, emotional peace, or freedom from fear — where you have been passively accepting a condition rather than actively resisting it in faith. Write down one scripture that speaks directly to that area, speak it aloud each morning, and when the enemy brings the symptom or the thought back to mind, respond with the Word out loud rather than in silence.
6. PRAYER POINTS
- Pray that each group member would receive genuine revelation from the Word this week, not just information, and that what they heard in this message would take deep root in their spirit rather than being stolen away.
- Pray specifically for anyone in the group who is facing a health challenge, that they would receive both the healing power of God and the boldness to stand their ground when the enemy pushes back.
- Pray that the group as a whole would grow in an eternal perspective, making choices this week that reflect a heart set on pleasing God and laying up treasure in heaven rather than simply managing the pressures of daily life.
7. MEMORY VERSE
Proverbs 4:20-22 "My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear to my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh."

Everything Answers to Revelation
Ephesians 1:17 — "That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him."
On Sunday, I shared that everything in the kingdom of God answers to revelation. That is not a small statement. I have watched believers struggle for years under the weight of a message that told them defeat was normal. And I have watched other believers walk in consistent victory because the Word got down into their spirits and changed how they saw God, themselves, and the enemy. Revelation is not information. It is the living Word of God becoming so real inside you that it changes how you respond when life gets hard. When you know God as Jehovah Jireh, you do not panic when money gets tight. When you know him as Jehovah Rapha, you do not despair when sickness comes knocking. Ask God today for the spirit of wisdom and revelation. He will answer that prayer.
Father, I ask you for revelation knowledge of who you are. Let your Word move from my head down into my heart until I cannot help but respond in faith. In Jesus' name, amen.
Living in Light of What Is Coming
Philippians 3:14 — "I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus."
On Sunday, I talked about the hope of his calling, and that word hope in scripture means to anticipate with pleasure. It is not wishful thinking. It is a joyful expectation of what God has promised. Paul pressed toward a mark. He was not drifting through life hoping things worked out. He was aimed at something eternal. I want to ask you a direct question today: what are you pressing toward? If your greatest aim is a comfortable retirement or a peaceful life with no problems, that aim is too small. God called you to live with eternity in view. To pour yourself into things that will outlast you. To see souls in heaven because of how you spent your days here. That does not mean you cannot enjoy life. It means you hold this life loosely and hold heaven tightly. Let eternity shape the decisions you make today.
Lord, adjust my perspective today. Help me to see my days through the lens of eternity and to invest my time and energy in what truly lasts. In Jesus' name, amen.
Built Up and Given an Inheritance
Acts 20:32 — "And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified."
On Sunday, I read this verse and I want us to sit with it today. Paul was leaving the Ephesians and he did not leave them a program or a strategy. He left them with God and with the Word. He said that Word is able to build you up and give you an inheritance. Those two things belong together. You cannot walk in your inheritance if your spirit is weak and underfed. The Word of God is the thing that builds your spirit strong enough to stand when the enemy comes. I have seen it happen again and again. A person gets the Word into their spirit, and the next time a symptom shows up, a bad report comes, or fear tries to grip them, something rises up on the inside and says no. That is a built-up spirit. That is the Word doing its work. Stay in the Word. Let it build you.
Father, I thank you for your Word that builds me up from the inside out. Help me to give it first place in my life so I am ready for whatever the enemy tries. In Jesus' name, amen.
Your Inheritance Is Not for Heaven Alone
2 Peter 1:3-4 — "According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature."
On Sunday, I made a distinction that I do not want you to miss. Your inheritance as a child of God is not only waiting for you in heaven. There is an inheritance available to you right now, on this earth, in this body, in this life. Healing is part of that inheritance. Peace of mind is part of that inheritance. Freedom from oppression and fear is part of that inheritance. God has given you all things that pertain to life and godliness. That is present tense. You do not have to wait. The corruption that entered the world through sin, the Bible says you have escaped it. Not that you are escaping it slowly. You have escaped it. When you receive that by faith, something changes. You stop tolerating what the enemy throws at you and you start saying no. That is not passive. That is the most active thing a believer can do.
Lord, I receive my inheritance today. I thank you that healing, freedom, and peace belong to me right now through the blood of Jesus. I choose to believe your Word over my circumstances. In Jesus' name, amen.
Mix Faith With What You Hear
Mark 4:20 — "And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred."
On Sunday, I referenced Hebrews 4, which says the Word did not profit those who heard it because it was not mixed with faith. That is one of the most important things I can leave with you from this week. You can sit under good preaching every single week and walk away unchanged, not because the Word failed, but because you stayed neutral. Faith is not passive. It is active. The good ground in Mark 4 receives the Word. That word receive means to welcome it, to take it as your own. When you hear that healing is your inheritance, you do not just nod politely. You say, that is mine. When you hear that God is your provider, you say, that is for me. Rejoicing in what you hear is not emotionalism. It is how hope becomes faith and faith becomes your miracle. Receive the Word today as if it was written for you alone. Because in many ways, it was.
Father, I do not want to hear your Word and walk away unchanged. Help me to receive it with a glad and open heart, and let it produce fruit in every area of my life. In Jesus' name, amen.
