5. APPLICATION CHALLENGE

Each day for seven days, they should read that verse aloud at least once, speaking it over themselves or someone they are believing God to heal. He Sent His Word — And It Still Heals
Psalm 107:20 — "He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions."
I want you to sit with this verse today, because it changed my life. God's primary delivery system for healing isn't coincidence or luck — it's His Word. When I was fighting cancer and doctors gave me 90 days to live, I didn't just casually read scripture. I planted it. I watered it. I declared it morning and night until it took root deep in my spirit. The Word isn't decoration for your bookshelf — it's alive, it's powerful, and it carries healing virtue inside every single promise. Sandra's testimony of nine weeks free from two years of pain didn't happen by accident. She fasted, she received prayer, and she let God's Word do its work. Friend, whatever you're facing today, God has already sent the cure. His name is Jesus, and His Word is the medicine.
Father, thank You for sending Your Word as my healer and deliverer. Help me treat Your scripture like the life-giving medicine it truly is. I receive Your healing power into my body and spirit right now, in Jesus' name.
Surely He Bore It — Every Bit of It
1 Peter 2:24 — "Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness — by whose stripes you were healed."
I want you to notice that word "surely" from Isaiah 53:4, the verse behind this one. Surely. No wiggle room. No exceptions. No fine print. When I picture what Jesus endured at the cross — every stripe across His back — I get something rising up inside me. He didn't do that casually. He took that beating so you wouldn't have to carry your sickness. That word "bore" in the Hebrew means He picked it up off you and carried it away. It's already been done. Now here's where most of us miss it — we know this in our heads, but we haven't planted it deep enough to know it in our hearts. There's a difference between knowing about healing and walking in it. Let's go deeper this week.
Jesus, thank You for every stripe You endured for my healing. I refuse to let that sacrifice be wasted in my life. I choose today to believe that by Your stripes I truly am healed.
The Spirit Inside You Is a Healer
Romans 8:11 — "But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you."
Think about what this verse is actually saying. The same power that pulled Jesus out of a sealed tomb on Easter morning — that same resurrection power — is living on the inside of you right now. I used to say it like Noble Hayes taught me: resurrection power is rebuilding, repairing, and restoring every cell in my body. That's not wishful thinking — that's the Word. Your healing doesn't have to come from the outside in. It rises from the inside out, through your spirit, through the Holy Ghost who lives in you. When symptoms try to shout at you today, remind yourself — there is Greater One on the inside. He raised Jesus from the dead. He can handle what you're carrying. Don't you dare let the devil convince you that you're on your own.
Holy Spirit, thank You for living inside me with resurrection power. I ask You to quicken my mortal body right now — every cell, every organ, every system. Rise up in me and bring life, in Jesus' mighty name.
Get It in Your Mouth — Then Keep It There
Romans 10:8-9 — "The word of faith is near you, even in your mouth and in your heart... that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."
Here's something I've watched people miss over and over again — they believe healing in their head, but they never get it into their mouth. And Jesus Himself said you'll have what you say. I remember when symptoms came rushing back after I'd been healed, and every part of me wanted to panic. But I'd been trained. I opened my mouth and I said, "I shall not die but live and declare the works of the Lord." By the end of the day, those symptoms were gone. Your mouth is not just for eating and talking casually — it is a spiritual weapon. The same principle that gets you saved gets you healed. You believe it in your heart, and you say it with your mouth. Don't stay quiet. Get bold. Get your healing scriptures off the page and into the atmosphere around you.
Father, help me be bold with my mouth today. Where I've been silent about Your promises, give me courage to speak what Your Word says about my body and my health. I declare that I am healed by the stripes of Jesus.
Don't You Dare Throw Away Your Confidence
Hebrews 10:35-36 — "Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise."
I want to close this week by speaking directly to those of you who are tired. You've been standing on the Word. You've been confessing. You've been resisting. And it feels like nothing is moving. Don't quit. Don't you dare throw away your confidence now. Endurance is what separates those who receive from those who stop short of the promise. I've been there — feeling like earth to God, come in. But I've also been on the other side, watching what seemed impossible become my testimony. And let me say this with all the love I have — there is no condemnation here. You are a learner in God's kingdom, not a failure. Just breathe. Stay in the Word. Stay with the body of Christ. Keep speaking the promises. Your healing is coming, and when it arrives, your testimony will stir up faith in someone else who desperately needs it.
Father, I refuse to throw away my confidence in Your Word today. Give me endurance to keep standing, keep believing, and keep speaking — right up until the moment Your promise is fully manifest in my life.
